Using a microSD card with your Ucam allows you to record continuous footage of the camera directly to your local microSD card, in a secure encrypted way. It is a non-stop, 24/7 recording on a rolling basis based on the SD card size. The maximum size microSD card Ucam supports is 128GB.
A microSD card is not required to use Ucam. You can simply use the free Event Recording plan to check motion-detection-based videos.
