Ucam continues to add new features and bug fixes to ensure you have the best and latest version experience. Please make sure you are using the newest version of the Ucam app and camera firmware. You can enjoy the latest version in simple steps here!
If you kept receiving upgrade failure messages, please follow the steps below. You will need a Micro SD card to finish the upgrade process. Please make sure your SD card is in FAT32 format. If not, reformat it to FAT32.
- Download the linux.bin file here and paste it in your Micro SD card.
- Insert the SD card to your Ucam card slot.
- Unplug Ucam from the power outlet and plugin again. The device will start the upgrade process automatically. Please wait patiently until the camera is back online.
- Take out the SD card and you are all set!
If you tried a few times but still cannot successfully finish the upgrade, please contact us at support@getucam.com or in our Telegram group with your Ucam UID, current firmware version and app version.
