If you are connecting Ucam with QR code scan method, a well connected Wi-Fi is needed, which requires certain permission from your phone. If there is no Wi-Fi name is detected during setup, please make sure
- Your phone/tablet is connecting to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
Allow Ucam to access your location for initial setup only.
If there is a window popup which requires Location Access, please select Allow Once / Allow While Using the App to continue.
If there is no popup window which requires location access, please do it manually. Go to your phone Settings -> (Privacy -> Location Services ->) Ucam -> ALLOW LOCATION ACCESS -> Select "While Using the App"
Note: Ucam needs the location permission to read your Wi-Fi information, ONLY FOR INITIAL SETUP. It is required by the iOS and Android system. We do not collect/use your location information anywhere.
